CPS IN SUPPORT OF THE RACE AGAINST CANCER

Supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, honoring the taken, and never ever giving up Hope – That’s what cancer is all about.

Cancer affects many people around the world and is one of the leading causes of death. , More than 1 million people are affected by cancer each year.
“The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, suffering, struggle, loss, and have found their way out of the depths. Chennai Public School joined hands with Cancer Institute to support the Race against Cancer along with a huge gathering of more than 6000 people who took part in the Marathon to spread the awareness that”Cancer is curable.”
“The most treasured and sacred moments of our lives are those filled with the spirit of giving to others. We at CPS believe that the purpose of education is not only to excel in academics but also imbibe human values. With that in mind, the CPS family, have extended a helping hand in contributing liberally in order to make a difference in the lives of all those battling against cancer.
The world’s biggest power is the youth. Youth has the resilience to absorb adversities and weave it into the pattern of its life, no matter how anguishing the thorn that penetrates its flesh. The need of the hour is to sensitize the youth to the cause of fighting cancer.
To see a rainbow we must first deal with the rain. Replace the word can’t with can. Know that you can, believe that you can, and know with ALL of your heart that you will. The students of CPS through the cultural events registered the message that there’s so much power in having a positive attitude, positive mindset, and positive outlook.”
He who has health, has hope; and he who has hope, has everything staying fit is the keynote to combat cancer. Students of CPS are here to convey that Taekwondo, a Korean form of martial arts, helps one to enjoy the glow of good health.
