PRE PRIMARY- WELCOME PARTY

The Welcome party of pre primary CPS-TMZ held on the 12th June 2017, Friday in the school Assembly hall, was exciting moment for the children as they came in with their colorful dresses. The occasion was graced by our Senior Vice Principal Mrs. Suchithra Santhosh.

The event started by a prayer song “Gods Love it’s so wonderful” by Pre primary teachers followed by a graceful classical dance performance by UKG/Mont-III girls. Teachers performed a skit on “Five little monkeys swinging on a Tree” with masks of monkeys and alligator. Passionate and vigorous dancers of UKG/MONT-III performed a hip hop group dance.

All the children had great time viewing and participating in the event. It was a pleasure to spend time with the children dancing, singing, and playing. Ms. Mumi Goswami Sarma welcomed the crowd and Ms. Sri Lakshmi proposed the vote of thanks.

FIRST STEP TOWARDS AN EXCITING JOURNEY AT CPS-TMZ

Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai conducted the Parents Orientation Program for Pre primary in School Assembly Hall on 12th June 2017-18. Our beloved Sr. Vice principal Mrs. Suchithra welcomed and addressed the gathering. The program initiated with a prayer song sung by the teachers.

Mrs. Gautami Kulkarni orientated the parents about the schools vision, mission and various teaching methodologies that will be implemented during the upcoming year.

Usage and importance of Montessori materials was emphasized.

Parents were informed about the importance of celebrating academic events to enhance theory of overall child development to fulfill the physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language skills.

Later, Parents and children enthusiastically participated in Photo session. Tiny tots of pre primary were given balloons as a take home. Children were enthralled with overall atmosphere on the first day at the school.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATED AT CPS

Yoga is an integral part of a student’s life at CPS campus. On 21 June 17, International Yoga day was conducted at CPS, Anna Nagar with lot of fanfare. Students of different age groups participated with enthusiasm and the various asanas of yoga were displayed with great ease. The students also displayed a formation of asana on the stage. The Principal of the school addressed the students and reiterated the need to incorporate yoga into their lives and also highlighted the benefits of practicing yoga on a regular basis.
