“There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million.”
Writing is an art and a craft that needs to be developed through deliberate practice. It is like acquiring the golden key to a secret garden. An author through her prowess can transport her readers to a different world altogether. Novels need not always be serious because life cannot be taken too seriously all the time. Sincerely sometimes we need to brighten our day with laughter and where better to find it, other than in a book?
“The Wrong Train” by the budding writer G S Aishwarya of Chennai Public School, Anna Nagar has a hilarious and thought-provoking theme. A young man with great enthusiasm, plans to attend his friend’s wedding and boards a train to reach his destination. But to his greatest astonishment he finds himself in a wrong train. The young man’s annoyance and helplessness is depicted eloquently by Aishwarya in her short story the “Wrong Train.”
CPS is indeed proud of you Aishwarya. Continue to write, for, words are both true and kind and can change the World.
