National Science Day was observed at Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai to honor the great Indian Physicist and Nobel laureate, Sir. C V Raman. On this day in 1928, his discovery of the Raman Effect came to light at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata. This breakthrough discovery brought the first Nobel Prize in science to our country in 1930. Hence, the nation celebrates it as National Science Day, an important day for the Indian Scientific Community. On this note, CIENCIA ’22, a three-day celebration engaged students of upper primary and middle school in various competitions and knowledge-sharing activities in the field of Science to innervate young minds to impart scientific spirit.
