CPS Thirumazhisia – CPS Girls Basketball Wins Runner-up Title

From a total of six teams participated, chennaipublicschool, Thirumazhisai bagged the runner-up title in Thiruvallur District Basketball Tournament 2022 conducted by the ICF Colony Basketball club affiliated to Tamilnadu Basketball Association. CPS Girls U13 Basketball team went on attack right from the beginning of the match making it to the finals. Best Player of the Tournament was awarded to Diya D of Class VIII. Congratulations team!

The Primary Department of #ChennaiPublicSchool, Anna Nagar conducted the EVS Competition “Distinct Footprints”. The students from across classes 1 to 5 displayed the stages of mankind through a multitude of activities.

The talk show set in the background of a cave with the children clad in primitive clothes, took everyone to the yesteryears. The role play on great personalities made the students stride with the sense of pride as they donned their characters realistically. To sum up, the fun-filled yet thought provoking activities aimed and triumphed to develop their communication  and interpersonal skills. Students learnt to respect the past, nurture the present and the need to contribute to the future.
