CPS-ANNANAGAR-“LINGERING LIGHTS”

Diwali-The festival celebrated across India to symbolize the spiritual “Victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance“.

Our little tots of CPS Pre Primary came beautifully dressed up in their traditional wear on the event of “Lingering Lights”. An event to encourage children to learn about the festival of lights. PP2 Children made beautifully decorated “Dazzling Diya “as their memorabilia for the event. They thoroughly enjoyed making it step by step, right from painting the diya ,sticking decorative stones on it and finally giving it colourful bud printing.PP3  children made An attractive Lantern ,decorating it beautifully with their imagination. Children proudly carried their memorabilias  home to add it to their  Diwali decorations ,making their home more special on the day of  FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS.

CPS-ANNANAGAR-Lincy @ Guinness World Record

Playing hula hoop started as fun at the age of 5 and at 11, Lincy V. of Class 6, Chennai Public School, Anna Nagar made her way into the Guinness World Record. Age doesn’t matter when it comes to achievement, 108 hula hoop rotations on foot in 30 seconds, made her reward well earned.

Lincy made her parents, teachers and School proud by turning her game into success. Her parents thanked the support and encouragement of all her teachers and management for discovering her talent.

CPS Thirumazhisai – ECO TOPIO

Not only Old MacDonald but also our pre-primary kids “had a farm”.

Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai held ‘Eco Topio’ to educate children on farm animals. Cows and pigs, hens and chicks… with little farmers saying “Ee i ee i o” transformed the campus garden into a farm. “With a moo-moo here And a moo-moo there”, the students enjoy learning about animal homes and their sounds.

CPS-ANNANAGAR-“GALA GOLU”

Festivals are fun and CPS kids had a gala time celebrating ‘Gala Golu’ recently. The spirit of divinity, pooja, sloka and festivity of Navaratri filled the air of Chennai Public School, Anna Nagar as Pre-primary kids celebrated the victory of the Good over Evil. Beautiful costumes and profusion of idols aroused curiosity and imparted the significance of Navaratri into the little tots.

CPS-ANNANAGAR-“Luminating Impressions”

Class 3 students of #ChennaiPublicSchool, Anna Nagar made an electrifying performance on the Special Assembly ‘Luminating Impressions’ delivering the message “Where there is light, there is love”.

Students seized the stage with their effectuation of song, dance, skit and lots more that relished the parents and audience. The glittery ambience and the photo booth attracted the masses.

CPS Thirumazhisai – My Teddy buddy

“A cute teddy bear, to a cute friend, on a cute occasion”.

Chennai Public School Thirumazhisai took the initiative to celebrate the My Teddy Buddy event recently. It signifies excitement, euphoria and a joyous spirit of enthrallment. Pre-Primary students were encouraged to bring a Teddy bear and Teddy snacks from the home. A picnic was conducted in school premises with the Teddy bear rhyme and snacks were shared in the school canteen area. A lot of fun – filled activities like Teddy bear printing activity, word cards, and sorting activity were organized by the teachers to inculcate socio-cultural values among the students.

CPS Thirumazhisai – Runner-up, Football Tournament

Knocking top football teams across the city, Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai boys team made it to the finals and emerged as Runner-up in ‘Under 17 Football Tournament’ conducted by Sudarsanam Vidhyashram. Best Player of the Tournament was awarded to Rishi Kumar of class XI.

CPS congratulates the achievers and wishes them to climb the ladder of success hitting all hurdles and difficulties to reach for the goal.
