CPS-ANNA NAGAR- “Arcobaleno, a Rainbow Life”

CPS set its floor for budding talents! Class 1 munchkins of Chennai Public School, Anna Nagar staged a special assembly ‘Arcobaleno – Live Life in Full Colours’ recently. The line-up of shows from the delightful Western choir, theatrical English play, energetic Hindi dance, thought provoking Tamil debate and the harmony of Carnatic choir were tantalizing. Our tiny tots pivoted on the essentials of living a life full of colours at its fullest throughout and made the event successful.

CPS-ANNANAGAR- “Kiddies Sports Meet”

The Tiny tots of Chennai Public School, Anna Nagar had a sporting time in the Kiddies Sports Meet held recently. Principal Ms. Asha Nathan welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr. Janani Gopalakrishnan, MBBS, MD (Sports Medicine), Ph. D and the august gathering. Our erudite Chief Guest highlighted the 3 pillars of life: Diet, Exercise and Sleep for a healthy body and mind.

Our moppet’s snappy walkathon, splendid mass drill of little sunflowers, Aadhavan’s extraordinary Gymnastic performance, Saisravani’s Yoga Asanas and Vasiharaguru Darshan’s Silambam stunts mesmerized the crowd. Fun games, races and hurdles didn’t stop at kids’ level as the energetic involvement of parents made the event spectacular.

On the whole CPS KSM 2022-23 was an overwhelming success.

CPS Thirumazhisai – Digifest 2023

Technology has become an essential part of our day to day life.

Department of Computer Science, Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai organized DIGIFEST ‘23 to enable the students to exhibit their creative, communicative, logical and programming skills.

Students of class 1 to 8 created presentations, E-Drawings, Web Designing and movies using various software like Scratch, HTML, Python, etc. Multimedia presentations were done based on Sustainable Development Goal 11.

The enthusiastic participation and involvement of students made DIGIFEST an effective platform for growing techies.

CPS-ANNANAGAR-ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2022-23

Chennai Public School, Anna Nagar held its Annual Sports Meet 2022-23 recently at CPS Global Education Campus, Thirumazhisai with Principal Ms. Asha Nathan, Ms. Aishwarya, Trustee and Mr. Suman Babu Yerlagadda, Director IT gracing the occasion. Chief Guest Dr.Arthi Arun, Commonwealth Powerlifting Champion addressed the gathering and encouraged everyone to fight till they achieve their goals as she has done in the arena of sports. Special Guest Dr. Ipshita Balaji, National Level Swimmer & CPS Alumni, inspired the students highlighting the significance of sports in daily life and expressed her gratitude to CPS for the extended support during her school days.

The Inter House March Past, an array of performances, track events and the inauguration Of Chennaiyin FC by Mr. Krishnadeep Menon, Chief Operating Officer, Youth and Grassroots added to the happy moments of the day.

The most awaited award ceremony of CPS was the best moment for recognising the well-deserved which encouraged not only students but also teachers and parents. Predominantly the event was of tremendous success .

CPS-ANNANAGAR-WATERLOO SESSION

CPSites enjoyed an interactive and energizing mathematics session by Prof. Surya Banerjee, mathematics professor from the Centre for Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), University of Waterloo, Canada. He taught Game Theory and its applications in economics and business using various games. Students of grades 11 and 12 experienced the power of mathematics and the sheer thrill of solving seemingly complex problems with a set of steps. Prof. Banerjee let the students solve a couple of questions coming up with possible answers. 

The session covered the exciting future opportunities that are in mathematics and business.

CPS Thirumazhisai – Annual Sports Meet 2022-’23

Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai held its 10th Annual Sports Day recently with honourable chief guest Shri. Punith Nandakumar, Indian Para Swimmer and National Awardee who shared his views on the importance of sports for being fit, healthy and disciplined. Principal Ms. Chitrakala Ramachandran, Correspondent Mr. Balaji Dagupati and Mr. Mr. Suman Babu Yerlagadda, Director IT graced the occasion. The Special Guest Mr. Krishnadeep Menon, COO – Youth and Grassroots, Chennaiyin FC inaugurated the association of Chennai Public School with Chennaiyin FC.

Flag hoisting, March past and an array of events like Fifa Fever, ProKabaddi, Joshiley Jawans, Silambam, Aerobics, Yoga, Gymnastics and Pyramid were spectacular. Trophies, medals and awards adorning the students paved the way for creating future sports stars.

CPS Thirumazhisai @ the School Quiz League

Out of hundred students participated from Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai, 8 made to the Regional level amongst 42 qualified students across India in School Quiz League Season 8 ‘Pratibha Ki Khoj’ hosted by EduAce with India’s leading Quiz Master Mr. Gaurava Yadav. Melanie Veera Saldanha and Sujeet S of Class XI secured 3rd place, Regional Finale and made it to the 4th position in the National Round.

Congratulations to all the young geniuses of CPS at this moment of pride and glory!
