Music has so many good effects on our body, mind, mood and psyche that this world would certainly not have been a good place without music. In case of children also music is of utmost importance because they are in the formative years and ought to have good impressions instilled in them.
Music is also a universal language and children ought to learn it. Our world has become a global village owing to revolution in science and IT. People are getting more and more interested in other cultures and countries. To this effect music comes to their aid as it helps them in understanding alien cultures. So, music like ‘language’ is ‘power’ and you should not devoid your child of this power.
CPS always thinks on the student’s betterment and did not want to mislay the chance of bringing Good Music Learning opportunity to our kids. CPS has planned to introduced Artlink Music classes for our Pre Primary and Primary students (I, II and III)

Artlinks – A structured and well planned curriculum platform to excel in music.
The inaugural function of CPS – Artlink Music venture, took place in our school campus on 1st Sep 2012 in the Sci Fi Theatre.

The legends in Music world – Vidushi Bombay Jayashri – BOARD OF TRUSTEE and Dr. Karaikudi Subramanian, Founder-Director, Brhaddhvani were the chief guest for the function. Mrs.Sulabah, a FM RJ and a cine play back singer also joined the function and made in magnificent. The ceremony started with lighting the Kuthuvilaku by the chief guest. Our Prinicpal felicitated the guests and Artlink then presented the Curriculum in detail to the parents. Our last year music students (of pre primary) performance was the highlight of the ceremony.
CPS Artlink Music Class is a wonderful opportunity placed and hope it will make a big difference in students future.
